Transparency and Trust: Our Commitment to Privacy
In the world of retail, the expectation often prevails that salespeople will go to great lengths to sell anything, regardless of whether the customer genuinely needs it. The lure of commission incentivizes many to push products aggressively. However, a different approach exists, one rooted in trust and lasting customer relationships. This philosophy has been my guiding principle throughout my career, both then and now.
I’ve always been comfortable focusing on what my customers truly need and desire, rather than relentlessly upselling. I treat people as I would like to be treated when I’m the customer, prioritizing their trust and satisfaction. This trust from my customers has led to years of friendship and an ongoing exchange of cosmetic advice. Many of these connections endure, with friends still using products I recommended, and often seeking further guidance.
This blog is built on the foundation of trust and honesty. I provide candid opinions on products and how they perform for me. If a product doesn’t meet my expectations, I’ll be straightforward about it. My work is a labor of love, and I take great pride in the effort I put into it, ensuring that every word I write is genuine.
The products featured on my blog are primarily those I’ve purchased myself, some of which remain from my retail days, although I no longer work for the same company and have no affiliations with it. On occasion, PR samples, tester products, and gifts may appear on my blog, but I evaluate them with the same scrutiny as purchased products. My reviews are never influenced by any brand, and any paid posts will be explicitly disclosed. I’m selective in accepting samples, only considering products I would personally purchase or have a genuine interest in. I turn down more offers than I accept.
It’s essential to note that just because a product may not suit my specific needs doesn’t mean it won’t be perfect for someone else. My reviews are based on how products interact with my combination/oily and occasionally dehydrated skin. However, what works for me might not work for everyone with the same skin type. While I hold qualifications in anatomy, physiology, and beauty/skincare consultation, I cannot provide personalized skincare advice without examining an individual’s skin. My recommendations are general, and I always suggest researching a product and its ingredients. Every person’s skin is unique, and product efficacy can vary widely. For example, I may have issues with Glycolic and Rosehip Oil, but many people love these ingredients. It’s a matter of finding the right formulation for one’s skin.
